We’re looking for… a motivated and passionate individual to join our 🇨🇦 Board of Directors for a 1-year renewable term with an expected time commitment of 5 – 10 hours per month. This position is of a voting Board member, and duties will include assisting with our organization through: (1) fundraising, (2) marketing, and (3) community building. While a background in STEM is beneficial, it is not required for this position.
Terranaut Club is a Canadian non-profit organization that specializes in science and nature exploration for girls and gender minorities. Our mission is to encourage these youth to pursue STEM careers and become environmental leaders in their own communities through immersive hands-on programs in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Our programs are developed and led by women in science, and engage girls aged 9 – 18 in three program levels: Junior (9 – 12), Intermediate (12 – 15), and Advanced (15 – 18).
